OPPOSING ANY LEGISLATION PREEMPTING LOCAL CONTROL FOR SOLAR AND WIND DEVELOPMENTS
The Lynn Township Board Members have unanimously passed this resolution on October 11, 2023 opposing the pre-emption of local control in solar and wind siting and zoning.
The Governor, Congresswoman, Senator, County Commissioner and State Representative have been provided with a copy of this Resolution.

Lynn Township has received a perfect score on the Audit and Minimum Assessing Requirements (AMAR) review. William Gast, from the Michigan Department of Treasury sent congratulations. Tax Management Associates conducted the AMAR study of Lynn Township and thanked the unit for our cooperation and success in meeting the requirements. It is a rare thing to receive a perfect score.
